投的一篇文章返修意见回来了，急求帮助

今天返修意见回来了，投的food chemistry，只有一个审稿人意见，但是意见不容乐观，求各位虫友指导下一步怎么做？编辑给的major revision。 The manuscript does not provide any new information compared to what is already known in the literature for other fish species and does not use any new techniques or demonstrate new chemical concepts. Hence it is only of confirmatory nature. Some explanation must be provided to explain the novelty of the work. Some other changes are marked on the uploaded pdf.
