[求助] 审稿人意见，感觉有点歧义，不知道哪个对求高人

Given the author's explanation for the different desulfurization ability of Fe/ATP versus Zn/ATP in the current and previous study (ref 1) is it not worth pointing out in the text (section 2.2.2) the potential effect of the method of preparation on the H2S desulfuarization performance of the material.
这里的 is it not worth pointing out 是不足以说明还是，不值得再提出？一开始认为是不足以说明的，因为初审审稿人就问我为什么两次实验结果矛盾，现在，在质疑我的回答比较符合逻辑，但是中文意思好像 not worth pointing out是不值得指出啊。应该怎么理解，最后小修了，急求帮忙谢谢~

worth的意思只有“值得”一个吧，LZ说的第一个意思“不足以说明”好像没有。
我觉得这句话的意思就是 (section 2.2.2) the potential effect of the method of preparation的讨论没必要，反而是 the method of preparation会对实验结果产生影响，那就要在试验中把这个因素排除掉才对，LZ对 the different desulfurization ability的现象解释里可能没有说明对这个因素的考虑吧？
