看不懂一句话是什么意思，求翻译

论文投到杂志上，评审员看我了文章里的一段话（在附在下面）后：The urine was centrifuged at 3000g at 4°C for 5 min just before the analysis, and the resultant supernatant was used to measure the levels of 11-dehydro-thromboxane B2 (dTxB2), a metabolite of TxA2, in urine with an ELISA kit (Cayman Chemical) according to the manufacturer’s instructions. 评审员这样写到：The authors explain how the urine was processed without explaining before that urine will be also analyzed, and they collected it. 请问各位，他写的是什么意思。看不大懂。请求帮助。  |

The authors explain how the urine was processed without explaining before that urine will be also analyzed, and they collected it. 在这句中how后面的“the urine was processed without explaining before that urine will be also analyzed”和“they collected it”是并列关系，使用“and”连接。这句子可以拆成两个句子“The authors explain how the urine was processed without explaining before that urine will be also analyzed”和“The authors explain how they collected urine.” 第一个句子又可改为“The authors explain how the urine was processed，they do not explain before that urine will be also analyzed” 整个句子的意思是：作者解释了如何处理和收集尿素的，但之前并没有说明将要检测尿素。 |
