Some old houses which possess special culture and history should not be dismantled, but others can be pulled down for the new city if they are too old and shabby. Meanwhile, the government should focus on the quality of people' life except for the modern facilities. In some places in German, it seems people are living in a beautiful park, there are many lawns and flowers. I think if more and more of such cities appeared in China, people will be very happy.

Physical historical building should be maintained, however, our education system for step generation is breaking down, I guess many children were sent extra hours to learn and learn and learn but no fun, they had a black and white memory of child age, and upon growth, very less imaginative performance due to the education they had, don't you think this is a bigger problem compare to old houses ?

Many of us are looking forward that they're protected, especially those with long history and enough stories. The old culture, as one part of the world's wealth,  can never be duplicated.
