这种情况可以argue吗？审稿人认为不适合发letter，应该写成长文章……

前段时间投了一篇materials letters，审稿人认为我做的好，而且有新意，但是letter篇幅太短，不适合，建议写成长文章……，就因为这个原因拒了。 问问大家，这种可以argue吧！ 还有怎么argue呢，请有经验的帮忙一下，小弟不胜感激！ |

The authors have devoted considerable effort on the interesting subject of alloy design of ** base alloys. However, I don't think the authors can present a comprehensive summary for readers of short communications. I would suggest the authors to present their results in a full paper instead of in a short communication. |
