[求助] 这种情况可以argue吗？审稿人认为不适合发letter，应该写成长文章……

前段时间投了一篇materials letters，审稿人认为我做的好，而且有新意，但是letter篇幅太短，不适合，建议写成长文章……，就因为这个原因拒了。
问问大家，这种可以argue吧！
还有怎么argue呢，请有经验的帮忙一下，小弟不胜感激！

Reviewer #2: This article presents experimental results of ****. For this newly developed alloy system with wide range of alloy composition, more information about the phase diagram and phase formation should be provided to make all the heat treatment results more meaningful. The authors have devoted considerable effort on the interesting subject of alloy design of ** base alloys. However, I don't think the authors can present a comprehensive summary for readers of short communications. I would suggest the authors to present their results in a full paper instead of in a short communication.
