[求助] 审稿意见中有关GPC测试的问题，不明白审稿人的意思，请高手赐教，急！！在线等！！！

GPC determinations are performed with PMMA standards and “universal calibration”. Does this mean that the intrinsic viscosity of the copolymer samples was determined, as for instance with a viscosity detector in addition to the refractive index detector?
不理解审稿人提的问题是什么意思，请高手帮忙！谢谢！

他可能不理解你说的“universal calibration”。问你有没有用用viscosity detector测共聚物的特性黏度。这就要看你的GPC了，除了有RI detector之外，还有没有viscosity detector？
triple detection GPC是有的。

A series of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) narrow standards were used to generate a universal calibration curve. 我原文中是这样写的，有什么不妥吗？他为什么会这么问呢

如果不是用的triple detection，你就回答说‘sorry那啥特性黏度俺没测。The system was calibrated using a series of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) narrow standards, and the molecular weights of the samples were referenced to PMMA... ’就行了。。。
