回答前先问一下楼主，这是原句吗？感觉句子本身有问题，具有相互作用的只有一个independent factors ，between 后面的and呢？译不下去了。
还是我水平太次了，有高手可以解惑不？

是原句。女士您好。原文是这样的：The stress protocol decreased weight gain even among animals fed a hypercaloric diet, but was not able to prevent a significant increase in the Lee index. On the other hand,there was an interaction between independent factors that potentiated serum leptin levels in animals subjected concurrently to the two protocols, denoting obesity 。
