The traditional  way of elements substitution can only improve one property wiith some other properties declining, but  using multiple substitution can  improve  comprehensive properties of the alloys  comprehensively

Compound element substitution can totally improve the synthetical properties of alloy avoiding a decrease of some other properties while increasing one property in traditional way.

Element substitution method was usually used to improve the performance of one property of an alloy while another property may be falling down simultaneously, but now compound subsitution method had generally boosted it's comprehensive performance.
