This is cintrast to addition polymerization where fast build-up of melecular weight at an early stage of polymerization is observed. Polybenzoxazine develop their glass transition temperature and other mechanical properties quickly as the polymerization proceeds. For BA-a benzoxazine, 80% of the Tg development takes place at 50% conversation. |
