在线请教，关于communications letters据稿再投的cover letter问题

在communications letters投了一篇稿，被拒但允许修改后再投。 编辑回信里有这样一段，“You may revise and resubmit your manuscript to IEEE Communications Letters. When you do so, please include a cover letter that indicates the new submission is a revision of an earlier manuscript and the reference number of that prior manuscript. Also include as a supporting document a point-by-point response to the comments of the reviewers and the editor. The responses to comments file must be uploaded in PDF format in the same section in your submission as the body of your paper in ScholarOne Manuscripts, and not under the cover letter. Please also be aware that ALL submissions to IEEE Communications letters must complete the copyright process”。有几个不是很确定的问题想请教高人们： （1）是不是说response to the comments不能放在cover letter里，而是应改作为一个单独的文件？ （2）cover letter是不是和response to the comments一样，也需要写成PDF格式？ （3）response to the comments的PDF格式有没有关于字体、单排双排排版之类的要求？ |
