Titanium foils (250 ¦Ìmthick,99.8%; Sigma Aldrich) were ultrasonically cleaned in acetone and ethanol prior to anodization. These foils were anodized at 30 V for 2 h in a two-electrode electrochemical cell in an ethylene glycol (EG) solution containing 0.3 wt % NH4F and 1% volume of H2O. The formed TiO2 NTs are 4 ¦Ìm long (7).In all cases, a platinum foil was used as the counter electrode.The distance between the two electrodes was maintained at 2 cm. The as-anodized TiO2 NTs were sintered in oxygen atmosphere at 550 ¡ãC for 5 h before Cu0 deposition. Fabrication of Cu2O/TiO2 Networks. Cu crystals were electrodeposited on TiO2 NTs in a solution containing 5mM CuSO4 in a typical three electrochemical cell equipped with a Pt wire counter electrode and saturated calomel electrode (SCE) reference. The electrodeposition was carried out with a rectangular potential pulsed mode at a potential of -2.0V for 0.2 s, and then a potential of -0.00001 V for 1 s, with 100 pulses.
