[交流] 审一篇proceediing paper, 和已发表文章基本一样，咋办呢

老板让我帮审稿，是Acta Mater 的proceeding paper. 老板说了，审稿可以松点。

我拿到文章一看，我靠，除了标题和摘要，其他都是一样的，图表和文中章节都一样，这咋审啊？大家给些意见？

我告诉老板，老板就写信给editor，editor回信说
Dear ***: Greetings! I have read both the papers and as long as they refer to the published (accepted) paper in the Conference paper, the Conference paper is acceptable.
If the figures have been taken from the published paper, as long as they refer to the published paper in the conference paper, the conference paper is acceptable.
Thank you very much for identifying the problem (and the concern).

老板又给我回信说：
This is the answer I got from the editor. He is saying that as long as the figures are referenced for the old publication, it shall be fine. I am confused. Anyway, I will point that out to the authors and ask for either referencing it correctly or change to another figure. Thanks a lot!

晕，都怪这个作者，咋能这样呢。。。。
