The applicant’s argument that there was no motivation to combine the disclosures of D2 and D1 does not succeed as long as no evidence is on file showing either a particular effect beyond a mere controlled release of drug A from the claimed poly(anhydride) or the failure to provide controlled release from the claimed poly(anhydride) for a considerable number of drugs. |
