The application of health assistant system in nursing quality management
【Abstract】
Objective To discuss the influence of establishing the system of hospital health care on the assistant quality.
Methods The health assistant system and a special office for unified management were establised, having the main responsibility of the ward nurses to provide patients with completed primary care, check out, specimens escort, accept on a variety of medical supplies sent to other work, etc. Compared with the information establishment of the health assistant system for nursing job satisfaction, patient satisfaction with the work of health assistants, medical personnel management job satisfaction, patient-based quality of care, hospital labor costs of patients before and after the application of health sssistant system.
Results The results indicated that the patient-based quality of care significantly increased (p <0.01) with the establishment of health assistant system, and the patient care and satisfaction, the health assistant (carer) satisfaction and medical care and job satisfaction were significantly higher than that wihout the aids of health assistant system (p<0.01). Compared with the social management of hospital management, the average monthly costs are lower (p <0.01).
Conelusion The establishment of the health assistant system can protect the patient safety, effectively improve the quality of care, and significantly reduced the cost of hospital expenses.
