投稿后Reconsider for publication，录用的几率有多少？ 已有3人参与

| 投稿后，编辑部返回意见reconsider your manuscript for publication pending the incorporation of revisions，这样的说法是大修、小修，还是原来不打算录用，但根据修改稿再考虑录用的意思呀？请大家帮忙看看，心里七上八下的。 |

认真修改，就有希望。 下面是我几年前一篇文章的编辑意见。修改重投后录用。 Dear Dr. **: We now have two referee reports on your paper "*****," with * *, submitted to the Journal. I attach them below. While referee 1 recommends eventual publication, referee 2 is considerably more negative, and as I explain below in my Editorial Summary, I believe that on balance there are sufficiently many problems with the paper that I have decided to reject it. I leave open the possibility of you submitting a substantially new paper on the same topic. I do NOT believe that minor revisions and additions to the present paper will suffice. It therefore seems to me that you have two choices: 1) Substantially revise, extend and rewrite, essentially producing a new and more complete paper that will convince both referees that your results are complete and correct. We would treat the revised paper as a new submission, but would ask the same referees to reconsider it. 2) Withdraw the current version from JNLS, make whatever modifications you wish, based on the reports below, and submit elsewhere. Please let me know what you intend to do. |
