How to explain the high number of missing reflections?

I submitted an article to Acta Crystallographica Section E and was asked to explain the high number of missing reflections (53371 measured reflections, 6780 independent reflections, and 6359 reflections with I > 2(I)). Could somebody please help me with the explanation? Thanks! Sorry that I couldn't input in Chinese. |
