各位高手是否遇到这种情况

投稿Waste Management一周，收到编辑的来信如下： Dear Dr. ******, Your submission entitled "*************" has been received by Waste Management. We are pleased to inform you that your paper falls within the scope of the Journal and has been deemed to be of potential interest for the readers of Waste Management. However, due to the considerably restrictive nature of the type of wastes described and the limited geographic area concerned, we would like to request that the paper be shortened to 7 double-spaced manuscript pages (corresponding to 2 printed journal pages), including a maximum of 1 table and 1 figure, without abstract and containing only 2-3 references. The article in the above format could then be deemed suitable for potential publication in the newly established column "A Glance at the World". Please note that articles accepted for this column are not forwarded into the peer review process and will not appear on the ISI web of science. I hope you may wish to accept our invitation and look forward to receiving a duly revised version of your paper as soon as possible.
