With the highlighting of the economic value of island tourism, all areas around the coast have been racing to develop tourism. Thus, the questions existed in the development of islands are increasingly obvious. In the present academia, the study of island tourism largely confines to resource evaluation. |

There are many islands in China, and twelve of them are country-leve islands (only in Chinese mainland). With the highlighting of the economic value of island tourism, tourism of all the coastal areas are being developed rapidly and thus the questions arising from the development are increasingly obvious.
