Abstract
In vitro bioactivity assay, cytotoxicity was induced by tacrine with human hepatoma cell line Hep G2. Extracts of Lepisorus ussuriensis with various organic solvents were applicated in treatment of Hep G2, which was treated as above-mentioned. Results indicated that ethyl acetate extract effectively reduced cytotoxicity of Hep G2 caused by tacrine and thus played a role in cell protection.
Ethyl acetate extract of Lepisorus ussuriensis lowers death rate of acute hepatic injury mice caused by decrease of LPS/ D-GalN, lowers significantly activities of ALT and AST of hepatic injury mice caused by LPS/D-GalN and reduces content of MDA, as well as bring up activities of SOD. Results indicate through activities of antioxidant ethyl acetate extract of Lepisorus ussuriensis play a role in cell protection of acute liver injury mice caused by LPS/D-GalN.
Various isolation techniques were applicated. Six compounds were isolated from Lepisorus ussuriensis, which were characterized through 1H-NMR to be 2-propenoic acid-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-ethyl ester(1),
4-ethoxybenzoic acid(2), eriodictyol-7-O-glucoside(3),
4’,5,7-trihydroxy-3-methoxy flavone-7-O-β-D- glucose-ide(4),
3’,4’,5,7-tetrahydroxy -3-methoxy flavone-7-O-β-D- glucoside(5), 2-(3,4-dihy-droxyphenyl)ethyl-6-[3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-2-propenoate]-β-D-glucoside(6).
Among them, all compounds can effectively reduce cytotoxicity of Hep G2 caused by tacrine and thus play a role in protection of cells.
Currently, relatively less is reported on Liver protection active ingredients. Therefore, it is of theoretical and practical value to further isolate and characterize liver protection active ingredients of L.ussuriensis.
