我的一篇文章的审稿意见回来了，其中一个审稿人同意发表，另一个不同意发表，编辑给了我修改的机会。但我对编辑的一句话不理解，原文如下： If you do wish to proceed, please submit four copies of a revised manuscript along with replies to the comments of the reviewers. 根据我以往的投稿经验，一般是写1份对review问题的答复信并提交修改稿，但这里却要求提交4份修改稿和答复信，我想写信问一下编辑“please submit four copies of a revised manuscript along with replies to the comments of the reviewers. ”是什么意思？（解释一下，因为这篇文章是大修，我担心自己写给编辑的信表达不清会引起编辑的反感，所以请高手代劳，谢谢！） |

我写了下感谢意见，并已修改，但对please submit four copies of a revised manuscript along with replies to the comments of the reviewers比较困惑，问他是不是要我寄四份改好的稿子给他，希望对你有用 Dear Editor, Thank you for your letter of – and for the referee’s comments concerning our manuscript entitled “”. We have studied their comments carefully and have made correction which we hope meet with their approval. By the way, would you please tell me what the sentence “please submit four copies of a revised manuscript along with replies to the comments of the reviewers” means?
