有经验的虫虫帮看看decision letter（JOTE），是否有继续修改的必要？

如题，要求五周内完成修改，感觉mission impossible，想打退堂鼓了。 敬请指点！谢谢！ 以下为上周五收到的decision letter Dear 。。。, Your manuscript, referenced below, has been reviewed and found to be of potential interest: "。。。。" Unfortunately, the manuscript is not acceptable in present form for publication in 。。。. The reviewers have delineated several deficiencies and recommend major revisions which may render the work suitable for publication.
