谁给出个主意啊！

想参加个国际会议，导师让整理下他的文章，再结合些数据，写了会议论文。由于时间比较仓促，只是对导师的文章进行缩减总结，没有添加新东西，论文的图表也没有变动。给会议编辑写信，回信如下，谁能帮忙出个主意，怎么解决，万方感谢！ It is unclear to me whether this paper is a copy of what you published in J. Hydrology, or a summary of a more substantial paper. If it is a summary – as appropriate to a symposium poster, then that will be acceptable, but you should cite the J Hydrology paper. We will not accept and publish the identical paper again; you would be not only breaking our rules and those of Elsevier who publish J Hydrology, but also academic ethos whereby you do not publish the same twice over. I am sure you do not intend the latter, but you should be open in your poster/paper about previous publication of fuller information – you do nott appear to refer to it. Note, if any of the diagrams/tables are the same as in the J Hydrol paper, you need to have and refer to permission from Elsevier – they will give it as it was your paper originally. |

建议你这两天重新写一下论文，不要有侥幸的心理，虽然时间短，但不能只做简单的搬移。如果时间不够，建议你还是投poster section了 毕竟编辑说了“you would be not only breaking our rules and those of Elsevier who publish J Hydrology, but also academic ethos whereby you do not publish the same twice over”。这样的行为涉及到copyright和plagiarism的问题了。 |
