螺旋加力器象一个螺旋测微器，测量时，样品被横放在前面两个螺柱之间，通过旋转后面的活动套筒加力。当样品裂变成两部分或两部分以上时，即认为它破碎了。
The augmentation just like a screw micrometer, in the front of it, there are two spindles between which the sample to be determined is laid-placed, the back of it is activities sleeve through rotating which, the pressure can act the sample, when the sample collapsed，it became two part or more than two part.

Like a spiral screw micrometer, when messuring, the sample is laid-placed into the middle of the two spindles in the front of the augmentation and feed force by rotating the activities sleeve in the back of the augmentation. While the sample crack into two parts or more, we are to believe that it is broken.
