x react with α-naphthol and β-naphthol to ether respectively by Williamson reaction, then ester on the ether hydrolysis in the condition of alkaline KOH . The "one pot" method complete the two-step reaction, and the yield of product compounds 3a, 3b were 85.1% and 91.2%, which is better than the yield of 43.8% and 63.9% through two-step method. In the whole, the one pot method is simple and easy to handle. |
