To investigate the immune status to avian influenza virus in Longfeng wetland, we collected 144 in-nest eggs of Chlidonias ieucoptera, examineded their yolk MAb to H1, H5 and H9 avian influenza virus by hemagglutination inhibition test. 100%, 38.89% and 52.78% Chlidonias ieucoptera eggs showed MAb positive to H1, H5 and H9 avian influenza virus. The HI titers were 6.19£¨log2£©, 3.76£¨log2£©and 3.81£¨log2£© respectively. This study provided fundamental data for investigation on infection status to avian influenza virus of wild waterfowl in wetland protection zone and disease control. |

Immune status to different subtypes of avian influenza virus of white-winged tern within Daqing Longfeng wetland White-winged tern is the dominant species within Daqing Longfeng wetland. In order to understand immune status to bird flu virus of birds within Longfeng wetland, 144 eggs of white-winged tern were collected in spring of 2010 from the nests and three Asian avian influenza virus maternal antibodies, H1, H5 and H9 were tested by using hemagglutination inhibition method. The results showed that the maternal antibody positive rates in white-winged tern species within Daqing Longfeng wetland were 100%, 38.89% and 52.78%, and that the average HI titers were 6.19 (log2), 3.76 (log2) and 3.81 (log2),respectively. The results provided basic scientific data for understanding the situation of virus infection in wild waterfowl within the wetland area and for disease prevention and control. |
