Thank you for your e-mail and your interest in joining my group. I liked your CV and background and I think it would fit with our current research projects. It is good that you contact me now, well in advance of your defense, so I have some time to arrange and plan things. As you know, the funding situation is always difficult, but I can send in applications to some Swedish agencies that support postdoctoral studies in Sweden. The chances are quite good.
What are your plans for the months after defense?
I wonder two other things. Could you arrange that your supervisor sends me a recommendation letter (by e-mail)?
Also, I wonder about your skills in the English language, both written and spoken?

其中What are your plans for the months after defense?是什么意思？？毕业后几个月的计划？？这个该怎么回答比较好！
还有这个位置的机会是不是不太好啊？好像现在还没基金！
