| Figure 5 shows the measured atomic fractions of Rh and Pt at different incident photon energies for as-synthesized RhxPt1-x nanoparticles. The depth dependence of the atomic fractions of Rh and Pt in the RhxPt1-x nanoparticles is much weaker than in the RhxPd1 x and PdxPt1-x cases, suggesting that the RhxPt1-x nanoparticles were predominately a homogeneous solid solution of Rh and Pt. |

depth dependence of the atomic fractions ，应该是指原子分布的梯度（表相与体相组成的差异） 意译为：Fig 5 给出了通过不同能量的入射光子检测出RhxPt1-x纳米颗粒中Rh 与 Pt的原子比。与RhxPd1 x and PdxPt1-x 纳米颗粒中Rh 与 Pt分布情况相比，RhxPt1-x纳米颗粒中的Rh 与 Pt原子表面-体相的组成差异小，这一结果意味着，RhxPt1-x纳米颗粒主要由 Rh 与 Pt金属形成的均相的固体合金溶液所构成。 |
