【求助/交流】about how to score the gel for associate mapping

| does anyone have some ideas on how to score the gel for associate mapping?by the way I use SSR and EST-SSR primers,and I don't have parent lines,if some samples just have only one band and the other samples have multiband, how to score it,do we score like 1/0 or the band sizes or use some other methods?thanks so much for your valuable response! |

Think your material carefully

You said you want to do association mapping , and you do not have parent lines. I want know what the population you have , RILS or elite lines, because some popuilation is not suitable for assiciation mapping. ssr markers always have special aim band ,if you got multiband , I do believe some mistake appeared in your experiment. and the ssr is not the suitable marker for association mapping, snps may be better |
