[交流] 【Original】who do you know this sentence?

On the first point ,if a system increases fold separation by adopting inclined lamellae as in polyethylene surface stress due to fold congestion is evidently more of a factor than when lamellae are always perpendicular as in isotactic polypropylene.
It is too hard to understand this sentence for me. Who can help me?

Understanding this sentence needs some specific knowledge on polymer science which is a branch of modern chemistry. Form grammatical point of view, perhaps this sentence is not correct. The main clause of this sentence is that 'surface stress is evidently more of a factor'. Sometimes in papers published in so-called international academic journals there exist many grammatical mistakes, especially when the authors are from non-English spearking counturies.
