On the first point ,if a system increases fold separation by adopting inclined lamellae as in polyethylene surface stress due to fold congestion is evidently more of a factor than when lamellae are always perpendicular as in isotactic polypropylene. | Understanding this sentence needs some specific knowledge on polymer science which is a branch of modern chemistry. Form grammatical point of view, perhaps this sentence is not correct. The main clause of this sentence is that 'surface stress is evidently more of a factor'. Sometimes in papers published in so-called international academic journals there exist many grammatical mistakes, especially when the authors are from non-English spearking counturies. |
