汉译英求助（土木工程类）

| 人防工程结构设计和普通民用建筑设计有所不同，人防荷载属于偶然的瞬间作用，作用次数通常只有一次，荷载值却特别大，但很不确定。因此设计的安全度或者承载力储备可以降低要求，材料设计强度可提高，允许结构在达到设计荷载时进入塑性屈服状态，出现较大的变形和裂缝，甚至是局部破坏，但是必须防止倒塌和具备必要的维护功能。因此，人防工程对建筑材料的要求不但要高强，而且要高延性、高耗能能力和抗冲击性。 |

您好！我觉得您这样翻不太好，如果您是要投外文期刊的话，我想依照中文的文法直接翻译不太好，毕竟这样子只有中国人读得懂。不过如果您坚持自己的意见，也无可厚非。这里对您自己的翻译在一些有问题的做了一些修改，仅供参考。 Design of civil air defence work is different to that of(不同于民用的设计而非民用建筑本身) general civil. load plays a role of occasional moment in the case of civil air defense and usually appears only once, with a particularly large but uncertain value.(扮演怎样的角色不能说be a XXX role,另外load不是一个复数，不可用are，而the role of number usually only once是完全不通的， load value is particularly large, but uncertain在语法上基本正确，但需要在前边加上and the，不过一定要使用这种句式，会让您的句子变得十分累赘。) Therefore the design of safety or capacity of reserve requirements can be reduced, the designed material strength(材料设计应力不能翻译为material design strength,可以是 the designed material strength或者the material designing strength) can be increased, allowing the designed structural load is reached when the plastic strain state of a larger deformation and fracture, or even partial destruction, it must be to prevent collapse and has the necessary maintenance functions(这一整句的问题实在太多，如果您觉得我不够说服力，您可以询问一下周围的朋友，建议您这一句参考我给您的翻译).
