Your manuscript entitled“×××" has been carefully reviewed by the Editorial Board. Although the reviewers felt the manuscript contained some potentially interesting data, I am afraid in its present form it would not have a sufficiently high priority for acceptance for publication. At the present time, we have instituted a priority system for the acceptance of new manuscripts since we are limited each year in the number of pages which we can publish in the journal. Based on our current priority system, your manuscript in its present form would not have a sufficiently high priority for acceptance. However, if you feel you could satisfactorily revise the manuscript along the lines suggested by the reviewers, we would be quite happy to reconsider such a suitably revised manuscript. I must emphasize that no prior commitment can be made concerning the acceptability of the revision as it will depend upon the resolution of the points raised by the reviewers. I am returning to you copies of the reviewers' comments which I hope you find helpful. If you feel you can satisfactorily resolve the points which have been raised, I would appreciate it if you would return to me your revised manuscript as well as a covering letter indicating each change which you have made in response to a comment by the reviewer by Sep 21, 2010. If you feel any of their points are inappropriate, you are certainly free to provide rebuttal in your covering letter. |
