【求助】请问如何找到40K/per year的funding 已有10人参与

申请了Princeton大学一个教授的postdoc，他对我给予了肯定，但是不给钱。他希望我自己能够找到钱。40K/per years的funding如何申请？他们给点建议。谢谢 dear dr wang thank you for your note. it is always nice to hear from talented researchers like yourself. thank you also for your kind words. unfortunately, at this time, i am at my limit of what i can support financially and time wise, not to mention that the physical space in my lab is filled: i currently have 5 students and 7 postdocs (3 more postdocs rrive with their own funding at the end of the summer and 3 new graduate students are to join my group in fall 2010). so i am unable to do anything at this time. one possibility, at least if the above numbers do not bother you (though they worry me since i am not sure where anyone new would sit!), is that if you are able to obtain your own funding (princeton requires a minimum of 40K per year for postdocs), and provided your letters of recommendations are strong, i could consider an appointment. that is all i can think of at this time. please accept my best wishes for continued success. with kind regards howard stone |
