ASME Journals Digital Submission Tool Guidelines and Information Publication Charges Additional charges are assessed for the printing of graphics in full color. Printing in full color is at the author's discretion, and the author will be billed for these additional charges. While the author may not be invoiced until after the paper is published, authors must commit to payment of these charges. See details below. Voluntary Page Charges Papers selected for publication in an ASME Journal are subject to a voluntary page charge of $75 per printed journal page. This charge is determined by the number of printed pages as shown in the author's proof. The total amount will be invoiced, through the author, to the author's company, institution, or agency. One hundred (100) free reprints are provided when the paper has been published in a journal and the voluntary page charges have been paid. Publication is not dependent upon payment of the voluntary page charge. Mandatory Excess-page Charges The standard length for an ASME Journal paper is nine (9) printed journal pages. Should an ASME Journal paper exceed the standard length of 9 printed pages, the lead author will be assessed a mandatory excess-page charge of $200 per page for each page over 9 pages. This charge is determined by the number of printed pages as shown in the author's proof, and it will be included, as a separate item, on the same invoice as the voluntary page charge. Payment is mandatory and does not entitle the author to free reprints. Please note that failure to pay mandatory charges may result in your paper being withheld from publication. 大家看看，是不是文章录用后，就一定要收费，如果我本人只要电子版本，不要纸质版本，是不是就不要交钱 |
