[交流] 写糊涂了，那个句子更好？

马上要上传修改稿了，可是总觉得这个句子写的不好。以下哪个句子更好？还是另辟新句呢？

1. The height of these nanostructures increases rapidly at first and then increases slowly with the increasing normal load or number of scratching cycles.

2. With the increasing normal load or number of scratching cycles, the height of these nanostructures increases rapidly at first and then increases slowly.

这个句子的关键在两个动词increases是否全部保留，我想用 With the increasing normal load or number of scratching cycles, the height of these nanostructures increases rapidly at first and then slowly.
但是and后面没有动词，行不？

我也觉得这个句子更顺畅，不啰嗦。

但一个哥们说and后面没有increases，是错误的

我想去掉increases是省略，应该没有问题吧？！
