[交流] Original article被拒可不可以申诉改成Short Communication

副主编一共给了两个审稿人的意见，第一个的意见感觉都没仔细看文章，主要说我这个课题已经做了很多的研究，我的研究没有新意，讨论的不够详细。
The main weakness of this paper is it lacks of novelty and originality. Furthermore, no sufficient detailed discussion could be found in this manuscript. It is merely a description of the results without a deep discussion. It does not introduce new insight to the current knowledge on the anaerobic codigestion of solid wastes.

第二个的意见很中肯，我打算按照他的意见重新修改一下文章。但是，不知道是审稿人没写还是编辑没有给我General comments，只有Specific comments。

我打算申诉一下，尤其是对第一个审稿人。另外，想根据第二个人的意见重新修改一下原文。不知道是否可行？

还有，想问一下，如果我的discussion不再多写的话，是否可以在申诉的时候跟编辑说，我可以有original article改成short communication？
