University of Calgary Mechanical Department 加拿大卡尔加里大学 硕士/博士/博后 机械/化学（urgent）/材料背景 The Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing in the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary is accepting applications for graduate students (MSc, Ph.D.) / Postdoctoral Fellow in the areas of development of environmental sensing and AI, Lithium-Ion Batteries, carbon fibers, Multifunctional 3D printing, sensors, machining, and mechatronics or related areas. Job Description: Positions are available in the Multifunctional Engineering Dynamics Automation Lab (MEDAL) at the University of Calgary for graduates to join an interdisciplinary team developing a wide variety of novel applications. The work will also involve developments, design, fabrications, characterizations, and application and the researcher will be closely collaborating with the sponsoring companies. In addition, the researcher would mentor other team members. The potential candidates should be prepared to relocate, if necessary, and begin work with us as soon as possible. Qualifications: Applicants must have an undergraduate degree in the engineering field with a focus (one or more) in materials engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, etc. Hands-on Experience with sensors, AI, manufacturing is advantageous. The successful candidates will have a proven record of success and be able to conduct research independently as well as be part of a team. Good oral and written communication skills are essential. We currently occupy 6 laboratories.
