[交流] 稿件被拒,很郁闷,编辑的权力是不是太大了??

本人投了一篇Environmental Monitoring And Assessment,审稿弄了五个多月,终于等到了意见,一个建议大修,一个建议直接接收,可是编辑直接给拒稿了,搞得我很郁闷。感觉编辑的权力是不是太大了啊??大家有遇到这样的情况吗?各位虫虫给点意见,我该怎么办??要不要写信给编辑部去申诉啊??申诉的话有没有用啊??还有编辑信中说修改后重投是客套话还是可行的啊??

Reviewer #1: Manuscript Number:  EMAS3999
Water and sediment samples were collected from Peacock River, Xinjiang Province, China and the concentrations of selected OCPs were measured and their possible sources were analyzed. These data are important since the information in the region is lacking, and may be interesting among scientist communities. I agree this paper to be published in Environmental Monitoring and Assessment with a major revision.

Reviewer #2: The manuscript presents a detailed study of organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) in water and sediment from a river in western China, where it is actually a prestine region. The has been little information about these toxic compounds in the area, and the presented data can be very useful in assessing the atmopsheric transport and deposition of OCPs to remote places. The samples were well collected with an excellent sampling strategy. The method was classic and with sufficient QA/QC measurements. The reported data was within the common ranges compared to other remote places in the world and China. The authors suggested that the OCPs in the region were all 'weathered' /aged ones, with source information provided. The manuscript was well written. I would suggest a derect publicition of it in EMAS.

但是第一个审稿人也没有给出很多很尖锐的意见啊,而且感觉他提的一些问题根本不存在,感觉是没有认真读我的文章,我明明在文章中说明了,他还提问题。

Water and sediment samples were collected from Peacock River, Xinjiang Province, China and the concentrations of selected OCPs were measured and their possible sources were analyzed. These data are important since the information in the region is lacking, and may be interesting among scientist communities. I agree this paper to be published in Environmental Monitoring and Assessment with a major revision.


Combine two maps in Fig. 1 into 1.(这个很容易办到)

Page 6, line 142:
Samples collection. Please give detailed information of sampling points. Whether or not there is overlap between the location of water and sediment.(有重复的,信息我也可以加上)

Page 6, line 150:
Extraction and clean up. What is the SUO glass meaning? What is the detailed information about water extraction? Please give some details regarding material used, including solvent/sodium sulfate/alumina/silica.(水样的处理方法我在文中写的很详细)

Page 7, line 179:
QA/QC. There is no report for recoveries of surrogate standards. Is the data blank corrected?(这条就不存在,我在文章该部分明确的写了)

Page 8. 3.1.1; page 11, 3.2.1
A table is suggested to list all the data. (有些物质的检出率太低,有些完全没有检出,我还有必要全部列出吗?)

Page 14. Line 367.
At Site 6 (Puhui) and Site 8 (Yuli), the highest range of HCHs occured: 6.58 ng g-1 and 2.61 ng g-1 respectively. This might reflect new input, as both Puhui and Yuli are important agricultural bases., Why the range of HCHs lower At site 7?(这个现象我可以解释,可能是有与回灌水在沿河流流动的过程中发生了吸附、沉淀浓度降低了,同样的现象也发生在第9点)

Page 14. Line 374.
"Most of the HCHs were found in the sediment, demonstrating that the sediment is the last normal ascription in the environment". What do you mean by "the last normal ascription in the environment"? How about other compartments, such as soil, water, and biota?

Page 14. Line 376.
"The sediment concentration distribution of -HCH, -HCH and -HCH had similar variational tendency, which was quite different from the distribution of -HCH, thus it also showed that there was new input of -HCH (lindane) into the Peacock River". Is this reliable? Is this any number to show the similar trend?(趋势很明显,从图中就可以看出来,而且也可以从相关性分析的角度分析一下)

Editorial is needed to polish English and correct grammar errors. A professional help may be required.(审稿人指出给出任何一处语法上的错误,文章本来就是就有我的副导师、我们学院的一个外教,进行了多次修改的)

感觉审稿人根本不认真,而且提的问题也并不是很好,我该怎么对待呢?
