The practice proved that compared with the steel pipe under the same conditions, the conveying capacity can be enhanced by up to 30% when the Newton fluid was delivered and the convering capacity can be enhanced by 50% to 200%, when the power-law fluid was delivered. In other words, to ensure the premise of throughput, small-bore tubes are reasonable to be selected so that running efficiency of pump is reduced by more than 30%, and if so, it could save the cost of energy consumption for 3 years or so, turned out to be offset with pipe investment. In other words, tubular products with minor caliber can be selected and put to use when the conveying capacity was ensured.
