In other words, to ensure the premise of throughput, small-bore tubes are reasonable to be selected so that running efficiency of pump is reduced by more than 30%, and if so, it could save the cost of energy consumption for 3 years or so, turned out to be offset with pipe investment. The practice proved that compared with the steel pipe under the same conditions, the conveying capacity can be enhanced by up to 30% when the Newton fluid was delivered and the convering capacity can be enhanced by 50% to 200%, when the power-law fluid was delivered. In other words, based on the premise of ensuring the conveying capacity, the running power of pump can be decreased by up to 30% by using the steel pipe with the small aperture so that the expense of saving energy cost for three years can compensate the investment in steel materials. Practice has proved that compared with the steel tube,the conveying capacity was increased by 30% under the same conditions when it was used to convey newtonian fluid and 50% to 200% when used to power-law fluid. In other words, tubular products with minor caliber can be selected and put to use when the conveying capacity was ensured. The operating power of the pump will be reduced by more than 30% ,which can save the cost of energy consumption, resulting an offset with the investment in tubular products in 3 years.
