Cell新出期刊定位探究

通过研究并比较各期刊的出版要求、咨询委员会和编委会成员，得出Cell新出期刊定位如下： Joule对标Nature Energy Joule, a sister journal to Cell, is a home for outstanding and insightful research, analysis and ideas addressing a key global challenge: the need for more sustainable energy. Nature Energy is a monthly, online-only journal publishing the best research on energy, from its generation and distribution to the impacts energy technologies and policies have on societies. 其实cell的各大子刊的独立性是很强的，杂志的定位是由该杂志的科学编辑团队决定，其他杂志的编委无权决定。随着iScience被sci收录，大家投稿偏向iScience是肯定的，而且中国区科学编辑李健老师说，他们办这个杂志就是对标小NC。 发自小木虫IOS客户端 |

Cell出版社旗下iScience目前是唯一的综合性期刊，肯定是对标小NC，cell reports 包括cell reports xx系列都不是综合性期刊，明显是对标communicaions xx 系列，这也可以从各期刊主编的经历可以看出来，例如cell reports physical science 期刊主编luke batchelor之前是communicaions xx 主编。我自己之前的亲身投稿经历也验证了这一点，之前投了两篇Joule，送审后被拒的那篇让转投iScience，未送审的那篇让转cell reports physical science。总之，我觉得不能凭另外一个期刊的主编的一句话去评判一个期刊，他也决定不了，大家都是科研人，还是要综合各方面数据，拿数据说话，特别是要看上面文章的质量。至于iScience能不能如愿能够挑战小NC，可能两年甚至多年后后才能知晓，个人见解，抛砖引玉  。 |

cell reports physical science 期刊主编luke batchelor已经明确说了“正在建立从chem、joule、matter 到cell reports physical science，以及从cell reports physical science 到iscience 的高效清晰的稿件转投路径。”那么，cell reports xx系列的定位显然比iscience要高。 我认为cell reports对应的才是nature communications，然后cell reports xx 系列对应的就是communicaions xx 系列。iscience的层次要低于cell reports xx 系列，虽然很多人不愿承认，但iscience的等级很可能趋于或稍强于scientific reports，而heliyon则可能稍弱于scientific reports. |

无论是cell reports physical science，还是iscience，我都不打算投，这么多老牌顶刊可以投，我没必要冒险。 你也不必如此生气，想必你是转投了iscience，然后希望这个期刊能水涨船高，心情可以理解。然而我只是在陈述一个事实，iscience这个期刊目前看来投资有一定风险，因为定位非常模糊，cell reports physical science主编的话也确证了这种风险的存在（很可能iscience的定位会不如cell reports xx 系列期刊）。iscience上的文章，我看过几篇本领域的文章，水平参差不齐，有的很不错，有的相当一般，你如果非说iscience要跟小NC比肩，我可以说，至少现在还差得太远太远。以后的发展如何，就交给时间吧。 |
