cell reports physical science 期刊主编luke batchelor已经明确说了“正在建立从chem、joule、matter 到cell reports physical science，以及从cell reports physical science 到iscience 的高效清晰的稿件转投路径。”那么，cell reports xx系列的定位显然比iscience要高。

我认为cell reports对应的才是nature communications，然后cell reports xx 系列对应的就是communicaions xx 系列。iscience的层次要低于cell reports xx 系列，虽然很多人不愿承认，但iscience的等级很可能趋于或稍强于scientific reports，而heliyon则可能稍弱于scientific reports.
