Currently, the rice hull is exploited with low efficiency in our country, even the main pollution source of some enterprises. Therefore, how to exploit rice hull sufficiently and increase in value is a considerable problem. Investigating a reasonable way to utilize rice hull has significant meanings for promoting further processing of our agricultural products, raising the income of a majority of farmers, changing waste into valuable and reducing pollution problems. |

The result indicated that lignin/SiO2 could be prepared by coprecipitation method from filtrate at mild reaction conditions, and the particle size and ratio of lignin and SiO2 of lignin/SiO2 could be modified by the control of solution pH value. The correlative tests indicated that composition of lignin and SiO2 was not simple mixture but function of chemical bond. |

Controlling the pH of the solution can easily obtain a controllable particle size and lignin/SiO2 composite with controllable proportion.
