carbohydrate polymer投稿后未外审但意见是大修，请问各位有没有遇到这种情况

请教各位，最近在carbohydrate polymer上投稿，编辑给出意见有点没看明白，应该没外审但是大修，这种情况下被拒的几率大么，意见如下，也想请问下各位有没有遇到过这种情况，谢谢！！！ Dear Professor Hu, Thank you for submitting the above manuscript to Carbohydrate Polymers. We have now received the reviewers' reports, and regrettably I must inform you that the manuscript is not acceptable for publication in its present form, and requires major revision before it can be reconsidered for publication. For your guidance, reviewers' comments are appended below. I believe that the comments/suggestions made by the reviewers are self-explanatory. If you decide to revise the work, please submit an itemized list of changes which have been made in response to the reviewer's comments/suggestions or a rebuttal of why a particular comment/suggestion was not acted upon. Changes to the manuscript should be made in RED so they are distinct from the original text.In order to expedite publication of the manuscript, I would appreciate receiving the revised manuscript by Dec 15 2017 12:00AM. If the revised manuscript is not received by Dec 15 2017 12:00AM, it will be considered withdrawn. Reviewers' comments: Dear Dr. Hu: thank you for submitting your manuscript to Carbohydrate Polymers. I find that it could possibly be of interest to our readers, but that ther are aspects in need of improvement before I would consider sending it to reviewers. I find no statement of hypothesis as required by the journal (see guide for authors for guidance). Characterization of your natural polysaccharide does not fully meet journal standards (see guide for authors, in which alginate in fact is used as an example). Significance and novelty of your work are unclear as written. I look forward to receiving your revised manuscript. |

嗯，这么说来你做的工作是挺有意思的，毕竟大部分都是做分离纯化的。你可以重点看看做多糖合成的文献，看看他们的文字怎么体现结构全面性，重点和新颖性的。 发自小木虫Android客户端 |

因为是接着实验室师兄的实验做的后续实验，对于结构部分师兄已经发表了，我的侧重点在后面的应用上，我也把合成的产物进行了表征，红外核磁荧光，在后面就是应用的表征了 发自小木虫Android客户端 |
