[求助] 文献里有一个长句子看不懂，求助大神分析一下句子结构和语法已有1人参与

看文献的时候遇到一个长句子，有点看不懂句子结构，如下：

With excitement in immuno-oncology suddenly at a fevered pitch, the bar was improbably raised the following year by the unexpected and stunning success of a genetically modifedT-cell strategy many thought would never work.

求助大神帮忙指点一下句子的结构和语法，感激不尽~~~

水平不高，参考下哈。不见得对

With excitement in immuno-oncology（某种学科内的刺激） suddenly at a fevered pitch（时间点，前面with and at都是状语）, the bar（这玩意儿是主语） was improbably raised（ the following year（时间状语））（ by the unexpected and stunning success of a genetically modifedT-cell strategy (by之后是 raised的途径)）（many thought would never work 这个是strategy 的定语）.
