| The library collections resource can basically meet the documents demands for the school readers , however it cannot meet the readers' needs for development platform. Based on the library collections resource and documents delivery services of Shanghai R&D Service Platform, a Hard-to-Seek Document Database in cloud disk was established, which produces long tail effect of the library collections resource, and enhance the guarantee rate of hard-to-seek documents of the libiary. |

| The resource of library collections from this library can meet the basic needs for the undergraduate student users, however it becomes grossly inadequate for users who are conducting scientific researches. A plan was put forth to combine the resources of our own collections with the document delivery services from Shanghai R&D Service Platform, and to establish a Hard-to-Seek Document Database through a cloud service. By doing so, the library can maximize its service function through so-called Long Tail Effect, and enhance its capability to provide hard-to-seek documents to the users. |
