A small sample of A was dissolved completely in MeOH followed by dropwise addition of water until there was insoluble solid formed in the mixture. Another portion of MeOH was added until the solid dissolved, and the solution was left at RT. After few hours, some needle shaped crystals were formed, and MeOH was added to dissolve the crystals. The container of the mixture was then covered by a piece of punctured parafilm and left at RT until crystals were formed. The crystals were collected and tested.
