我们发现,当玻璃样品中Al含量为1mol%时,只发生了Eu3+:5D0→7FJ(J=1,2)的电子跃迁,其发射分别位于590和610nm波段处。而当在玻璃基质中不断地添加Al时,光谱中的蓝绿光区出现了位于400-550nm左右的宽带发射,我们将其归为Eu2+的5d-4f的跃迁发射,且当Al的含量在10mol%时,Eu2+的宽带发射达到最强;与此同时,Eu3+的发光却呈现了不断下降的趋势。由此,经过分析认为在硅铝酸盐玻璃体系中,由于Al的掺入,发生了Eu3+→Eu2+的还原作用。

We found that when the Al content in the glass was 1 mol%, the specimens only emitted light at wavelengths of 590 and 610 nm, characteristic of  a 5D0→7FJ(J=1,2) energy jump of electrons in Eu3+. Further increase the Al content in glass matrix led to a new broad blue-green light emission around  400-550 nm, which can be assigned to 5d-4f energy jump of electrons in Eu2+. Furthermore, the Eu2+-specific broad band emission maximized at 10%Al content, while at the same time, the emission from Eu3+ decreased steadily as the Al content increased.  We therefore believe that the presence of Al in aluminosilicate glass triggered an Eu3+→Eu2+ reduction reaction.
