都没送审被编辑拒了（journal of service research),从拒信里能看出点啥门道么？ 已有3人参与

拒信如下，感觉特别对不起教授。。。连审稿人那边都没推到，哎~越看越难受。。。 感觉好像是因为contributions不强被拒的，教授当时做实验设计的时候就提出过，但还是放手让我做了。 Dear XXX: Thank you for submitting your manuscript, "xxxxxxxx” to the Journal of Service Research. I have read your paper with respect to its potential suitability for JSR. Unfortunately, after considering the manuscript, I have concluded that the paper is not positioned well for JSR’s focus nor does it rise to JSR’s current standards for academic contribution to service research. The JSR is a scholarly journal that publishes the highest level of research relating to service. To be published in JSR, a manuscript must significantly advance theory, provide managerially-meaningful and generalizable empirical research, or provide new models or methods that can be used to improve service. Unfortunately, your paper does not match this profile. The paper is very interesting, the research is well-designed, and the analyses appear to be carefully done and sophisticated. The paper is also very well written. While these are clear strengths of the research, the focus on XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, is not a good fit with JSR. The paper is purely focused on e-retailing and product issues and, unfortunately, the potential contributions to service theory and practice are not apparent. Research published in JSR must be anchored in academic service research and directly applicable to service theory and practice. Based on its focus and the vast majority of the references included in the paper, it seems the paper is a much better fit for a pure marketing, retailing or consumer behavior journal. Thus, despite its strengths, I am sorry that I must reject your paper. Thank you for thinking of JSR for your research and I hope you will consider the journal again when you have research that is a bit more general and tied directly to service. 因为跟JSR主题不是很符合，因此，他们并未深入你文章具体研究内容来评价。倒可以再研究下是否有主题更合适的期刊，这样reviewer也容易找到。另外，他提出你参考文献很多，保罗了很多领域，很难归为具体某个主题的期刊。这一点可能你下次再投时也要考虑一下。 发自小木虫IOS客户端 |
