We are currently offering PhD positions in Vienna within the structured doctoral program a?œChromosome Dynamicsa?. The program is hosted by the Max F. Perutz Laboratories of the University and Medical University of Vienna, in cooperation with the Gregor Mendel Institute of Molecular Plant Biology and the Institute of Molecular Biotechnology. We are looking for highly motivated PhD students that would like to work in the fields of (somatic and meiotic) DNA repair, chromosome organization, movement and segregation, telomere function, dynamics of chromatin modifications and gene regulation. A combination of special seminars, lectures, workshops with international specialists, and the actual research work will provide excellent training for junior researchers.
